I already have a website. Why would I need Direct2florist? Direct2florist is not meant to replace anything you are doing. It is a supplement - another way for you to get orders. It shouldn't matter if the order comes from your website or Direct2florist. In both cases you get 100% of your asking price. If your website is not equipped for online ordering, Direct2florist will solve that problem for you. You can have a link that will take your customers from your website directly to your personal page on Direct2florist. Do I need to be a computer expert to get set up on Direct2florist? Basic computer skills are all you need to get started and it doesn't take much time. You can do everything yourself online. Mostly you just answer some simple questions. If your photos are on your computer you can load them up yourself at anytime and change them as often as you like with one click per photo. The system will automatically size them for you. I don't have photos of my products yet and I want to get started what can I do? We have a library of photos of basic arrangements and plants you can choose from. However, we really encourage you to use your own photos as soon as possible. Consumers are looking for more creative options that only you can provide. How many products can I show on my Direct2florist page? You are allowed up to 40 images. Can consumers rate my products and service? Yes, consumers can give you from one to five stars. Your page will show your average rating and allow consumers to make comments. What about my delivery charge and sales tax? In your asking price you must include the cost of the product, the delivery charge and the sales tax. You are showing a delivered price. What you show as the price is what you will receive from Direct2florist. What is the transaction fee and how is that handled? Direct2florist will charge the consumer a transaction fee on every order in addition to the asking price of the retail florist. The transaction fee will be used to cover overhead and promote the brand to consumers. How do you handle disputes between florists and consumers? If Direct2florist is in error we, will make good with the consumer. If the dispute is with the quality of the product or the service the florist needs to make good with the consumer. What does my wholesaler have to do with this? Although the concept started in England, the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WF&FSA) has taken the initiative to make this service available in the U.S. and Canada. As Direct2florist matures we expect your wholesaler will help you with seasonal products and be a conduit of information to help you thrive on Direct2florist. |
