My order was to my friend who was nursing her husband suffering from terminal cancer however a couple of hours after placing the order I received news that he had passed away and I emailed the florist asking them to still send the flowers but to note what had happend. My friend rang me the day after to say they were beautiful and that the guy had delievered them late in the evening after all the delivery times slots because when he found out it was bereavement he wanted to make sure they were delievered that day .

Very pleased with the care and conscientiousness shown by this florist who checked on the status of our friend (the recipient of the flowers) over the weekend in order to be sure he was allowed to receive flowers after a serious operation and kept on checking as necessary. Ecker's is great. I ordered a mixed bouquet for same-day delivery; they emailed me to ask if I wanted to wait for gerberas (standard in that bouquet) to arrive the next day, or if I wanted to go with other flowers. After delivering the flowers, they followed up with the recipient because they felt some flowers weren't up to their standards, and they offered replacements. I've ordered from them many times and the recipients have always been pleased. Excellent personal service!

Direct2Florist site finds local florists that you know you can count on doing the right thing. I would use them and their linked florists again in a heartbeat. One day delivery and positive prices. Where other florists would advertise 1/2 off and then charge you $10 more on checkout to join their club, or charge $15-25 for the delivery, this local florist charged a reasonable $8 for delivery. I've been to their location personally and already knew this is a 5-star florist !

They did a fantastic job with the flowers and delivery was quicker than I expected. The flowers were for a friend who had just lost her father. I wanted tasteful but not too somber. My friend is part of an email group and we use sunflowers as our sybol. I wished my friend sunflowers and hugs from us all and the florist took her cue from my card greeting and included sunflowers, which was jsut wonderful and also just what my friend needed. SDo thank you for such terrific service I won't hesitate to use Direct2florist next time I need to send flowers. Kath

My daughter just received the flowers and sent me a pic of them...They are gorgeous and even better than the photo....Not sure if she got the card with them though cos she asked if we had sent them...But she has just moved in and maybe just phoned me straight away cos she was excited.....but thank you anyway....Its nice to know we can use a good florist near to where she lives....Rita
